It's Not Too Much to Ask Campaign

The system for providing vital equipment to sick, disabled and terminally ill children in the UK is 'ready to collapse' because of a 'scandalous' lack of funding and failing systems, according to Britain's leading birth defect charity, BDF Newlife.

The charity has launched a campaign called "It's Not Too Much to Ask" to bring the problem to the attention of the Government and is calling for the establishment of a disabled children's tsar to oversee the establishment of a new disabled child equipment provision regime.

The campaign aims to attract 250,000 signatures/names to a petition calling for change - one name for every deprived child.

An electronic version of the petition is on the BDF Newlife website and members of the public can also text their support to make it easier to get their voices heard. Text BDF (space) first name (space) surname (space) county to 87202.
